Whispering Winds is a 2,500 SF home built in 2018. It is an immaculate 2-level vacation home with 3 bedrooms and 3.5 baths. It accommodates up to 6 people and every room has spectacular 180 degree mountain views!

The house is located in Bentonville, VA in a private, gated community. It is nestled between the Shenandoah National Park and the George Washington National Forest, just above the gorgeous South Fork of the Shenandoah River.

It is equal distance (15 minutes) from Front Royal and Luray, VA. Both towns offer entrances to Skyline Drive, quaint main streets with local business, antique shopping and restaurants.

Only 90 minutes from Washington D.C., Whispering Winds sits in the perfect location for a weekend getaway or a longer vacation.

Master Suite #1: Queen bed, attached full bath with a deep soaking tub, stand-up shower and double sinks. 180 degree mountain view. Private balcony, walk-in closet, dresser and ceiling fan.. Wheelchair accessible.

Master Suite #2: Queen bed, attached full bath with stand-up shower and double sinks. 180 degree mountain view. Opens to main deck, walk-in closet, dresser, desk and ceiling fan.

Bedroom on lower level: Queen bed, full bath just outside the room with a shower/tub combination. 180 degree mountain view. Dresser, ceiling fan and built-in shelves with a book library.

An extra half-bath is located on the upper level of the house.

Living Room: Located on the main level of the house, it offers access to the main deck, 180 degree mountain view, comfortable seating and a large gas fireplace. The floor plan is very open with a high wooden ceiling and ceiling fan with remote control. The TV offers streaming video services via Roku (no cable TV provided).

Kitchen: Very large and open, it features all new appliances, designer cabinetry and a locally-crafted wood breakfast bar, plus 4 stools. It is fully-equipped with a huge array of cooking equipment and much more.

Dining Room: A separate area off the kitchen, the dining table seats 6 people and has one of the most beautiful mountain views in the house.

Den/Rec Room: On the lower level of the house, enjoy the comfortable couch, TV with a DVD library, game table with board games and a desk for children's activities or crafts. The room opens to a stone-paved patio and outdoor seating.

Laundry room: Full-size washer and dryer to meet your needs.

Garage: In addition to the large, circular driveway, there is a 2-car garage where you may keep your vehicle(s).

Whispering Winds offers 3 outdoor areas with seating: A large deck with seating for 6, a new gas grill and propane fire pit for your enjoyment. A smaller private desk off Master Suite #1 has seating for 2. A custom stone patio leading to the backyard has seating for 5.

The local owners, William and Stephanie Talbot, are dedicated to making sure your vacation rental home is perfect. The home is maintained by us, not a property management company. 

We love our community and the outdoors so much we wanted to share it with others.
